Dillon Candy Company is accepting orders of Peppermint Divinity for fall shipments and the winter holidays.
The Dillon team developed a recipe packed with peppermint pieces that are blended into Dillon’s all-time favorite divinity nougat.
The 1.7-ounce package is great for the grab-and-go customers or a perfect fit in holiday gift baskets. This item is offered at wholesale in 3 case sizes: small display, large display, and bulk. It is also available in unlabeled film (minimums required).
“Creating delicious, high-quality confections has been a family tradition for over a century. The Peppermint Divinity builds on the legacy of our classic divinity nougat and adapts it to create a unique and delicious holiday treat,” said Tom Cook, Dillon Candy Company president.
Founded in 1918 and made in Boston, Ga., Dillon’s candy confections are distributed nationally and internationally in many specialty and gourmet food venues. Dillon’s is steadfast in its commitment to creating a specialty product. Dillon Candy Company is an SQF certified facility. For more information, visit
Holiday sales are going well for Dillon’s so far, Cook told Gourmet News.
“At this point in the year, we are about 12 percent ahead of last year regarding holiday item orders. Some of that is new business and some of that may be attributed to existing customers wanting to secure product availability due to pricing and supply chain challenges.”
Holiday trends come and go, but something can be relied on year after year: the new candies and chocolates.
The U.S. chocolate market is valued at nearly $50 billion a year, according to Statista, with the seasonal chocolate market accounting for $3.3 billion, with an annual sales growth of 13.5 percent.
