Football Fans (and Swifties) Can Munch on Mama Kelce’s Cookies

Introducing: Mama Kelce’s Cookies! Aramark Sports + Entertainment, the award-winning food and beverage partner at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City Chiefs) and Lincoln Financial Field(Philadelphia Eagles), has teamed up with Donna Kelce, the mother of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Eagles center Jason Kelce, to bring her famous chocolate chip cookie recipe to football fans at both stadiums this holiday season.

Fans who attend games on Christmas Day in Kansas City and Philadelphia will be able to order the same sweet treat that Mama Kelce delivered to her sons on Opening Night of Super Bowl LVII, right before the NFL stars faced off as the first brothers to ever compete against each other in the Super Bowl.

The Aramark culinary teams will freshly prepare Mama Kelce’s cookie recipe for fans. All proceeds from cookie sales will benefit Operation Breakthrough based in Kansas City and the Eagles Autism Foundation based in Philadelphia, and Aramark will match the donation to each organization 1:1.

“I am so excited to work with Aramark to bring my cookies to Chiefs’ and Eagles’ fans on Christmas day,” said Donna Kelce. “In this season of giving, it means so much to raise money for two great charities through an old-fashioned bake sale.

“My chocolate chip cookies have been a staple in our house for a long time, so it’s very special to share the recipe that my sons love with fans during the holidays. It’s even sweeter because the Eagles Autism Foundation and Operation Breakthrough will benefit; usually, it’s just my boys!”

Fans will be able to purchase Mama Kelce’s Cookies in packs of two at the following locations:

  • GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – Kingdom Lodge in Section 136
  • Lincoln Financial Field – HeadHouse Plaza, Club Markets, and Suite Level

And for those who can’t make it to one of the games, they can follow Mama Kelce’s recipe here.

“Aramark Sports + Entertainment immerses guests in the extraordinary everywhere we serve, which includes finding innovative ways to bring pop culture trends to life inside a sports environment,” said Alison Birdwell, president and CEO of Aramark Sports and Entertainment. “We could not be happier to partner with the NFL’s most popular team mom, Donna Kelce, to bring her famous cookies to fans and support two incredible charities during the holiday season.”

Nassau Candy Updates Decades Box Nostalgic Candy Gift Sets

Nassau Candy, leading manufacturer of specialty and private label confections, is unveiling a new look for its popular Decades Box Nostalgic Candy Gift Sets. The re-design serves up a more interactive experience, making the Decades Boxes more giftable, while featuring a new assortment of nostalgic goodies.

Each new Decades Box has the signature look and feel of the decade while still creating a cohesive presentation when merchandised together. But what makes the re-design extra fun and interactive are hidden facts about that particular decade incorporated into the design. This is intended to spark memories, conversation, and add to the nostalgic experience.

Not only does the new art make the Decades Boxes more appealing gifts, it also makes merchandising simple. The new package art is vertical on one side and horizontal on the other, allowing for multiple merchandising options.

Also new for the re-launch is the addition of a 2000s box. It joins the current line, which features 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s boxes.

“Nostalgic candies are the most sought-after confectionery items,” said Dana Rodio, director of brand strategy for Nassau Candy. “Our re-designed Decades Boxes offer up their longtime candy favorites all in one place, while transporting them back in time with nostalgic imagery and fun facts. That’s why the entire Decades Box line has long been a favorite gift for milestone birthdays and as party centerpieces.”

Impossible Beef Hot Dogs to Debut for 1 Day Only in NYC

On Saturday, Dec. 16, Impossible Foods will debut an exclusive sneak preview of its latest meat-from-plants innovation – all-new Impossible Beef Hot Dogs – available for one day only in New York City.

As hungry holiday shoppers descend on Midtown Manhattan in search of the perfect gifts, Impossible will be serving up a gift of its own: free Impossible Hot Dogs on Dec. 16 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Impossible fans can tune into the brand’s Instagram page for the address drop in the days leading up to the event.

The giveaway marks the first taste of Impossible’s newest product, which promises a fresh but familiar take on the classic American hot dog and is set to launch in restaurants and grocery stores next year. The juicy, savory links offer a similar cooking and sensory experience to traditional animal beef hot dogs, but are made with high-quality ingredients derived from plants.

Impossible Hot Dogs outperform the animal on several key nutritional metrics: they contain 50% less total and saturated fat than a leading brand of animal beef hot dog served in restaurants, in addition to featuring a whopping 12 grams protein (versus 6 grams) and 0 milligrams cholesterol.2 Unlike most animal-based hot dogs, the franks also contain no added or synthetic nitrates or nitrites, instead using only those naturally occurring in cultured celery powder.

“Hot dogs are an undeniably classic part of American culture and not to mention, they’re a burger’s best friend. It’s long been a priority to add them to our product portfolio,” said Peter McGuinness, CEO and President of Impossible Foods. “Our adaptation replicates that quintessential hot dog taste, while offering consumers a nutrient-dense product that’s better for the planet. We want people to see that there’s really no compromise when you choose Impossible products. It’s as easy as throwing an Impossible Hot Dog on the grill – right next to an Impossible Burger.”

The craveworthy, nostalgia-inducing hot dogs cook up just like their animal beef counterparts and are primed for a variety of delicious toppings – from classic condiments like ketchup or mustard, to plant-based Impossible Beef Chili. And because they’re made from plants, Impossible Hot Dogs account for 84 percent less greenhouse gas emissions, 77% less water and 83 percent less land than an animal beef hot dog.

Impossible Hot Dogs mark the seventh new product to be released by Impossible in the last 12 months. Earlier this year, the company doubled-down on its beef-from-plants portfolio with the Impossible Indulgent Burger – a gourmet patty that recently rolled out across Ruby Tuesdays nationwide – and Impossible Beef Lite – a heart-healthy, plant-based take on lean beef. Impossible also expanded its chicken-from-plants portfolio with new offerings like Impossible Spicy Chicken Nuggets & Patties and Impossible Chicken Tenders. Meanwhile, its flagship Impossible Beef product remains the top-selling plant-based meat product in the United States by dollar sales and volume, across both the retail and foodservice sectors, and its Impossible Meatballs are the #1 best-selling plant-based meatball in the United States.
